The Classes That I Detest

Every students must be have the classes that they detest. Not excluded me. As a University student, the characteristic of classes that i detest is, the lesson is bored, cannot catch up what the lecturer is teaching, and there is too many home works in a single class.

The bad condition will make the classes become bored. For example, the class is hot, the class is noisy, and the class is smelly. This will affect our emotion and make us become moody and finally we will feel the class is bored and cannot concentrate. Moreover, some lecturers that just read from the books and never interact with students will also make the class become bored. Scientist said that, human can only stay quiet and give fully concentration for 45 minutes. However, some of the lecturer will just have the lecture class for two hours continuously and this will cause the student become impatient.

Beside that, there are also some lecturers that teach very fast and speak very fast without giving any example. Giving example is the best way for students to gain more understanding and learn. Without any explanation or example, students may not catch up what's the lecturer teaching. Initially, they will try their best to follow up the lesson. When the time long, if they still cannot catch up, they will just give up and day dreaming or chit chatting in class. Further more, there is some classes that have many home works to do. The University life is hectic. The increasing of the home work will induce students more pressure. Therefore, the will try to escape form it and getting less interesting on the certain subject. For example, In order to get a great mark for assignment, some of them willing to sacrifice their rest time to settle all the work. This will cause them lack of rest and finally they will fall asleep during class.

I can conclude that most of the students will detest the classes that bored, too much home work, and have a bad environment. Hence, a good condition to study and better teaching skill is needed to allay the problem.

How To Stay Awake Dring Classes

University life is very hectic especially in today's competitive environment.Education is very important to ensure that you have a bright future. Moreover, professional in the society is highly in demand. The amount of student that studying in University is increasing every year. However, the attitude of the students today cannot help them to have good results. This is because most of them cannot concentrate in class.

I am taking my foundation in Multimedia University. From my observations,i had seen people fall asleep while the lecturer was giving the lesson.Apart from that,my friends that sitting beside me was also trying to chit chatting with me.In fact,i was trying to concentrate on the lesson. Some of them were not listening but they were day dreaming.Obviously, those are the problems that lead them to fail the subject.

In my opinion, there are some tips on how to stay awake during classes.First of all, they have to sleep well the day before the lesson. This is very important so that they are able to remember the main points of the subject.Secondly, by asking question in class can help them to trigger their interest in the particular subject. Beside that,it can help them to stay awake during lesson.I am sure that they will get better understanding by asking questions. Thirdly, i suggest to jot down the points in their own note books. When they are busy writing,i am sure that they will not fall asleep. Lastly, they can also bring some sweets to the class. If they are tired of listening, sweets can help them to stay awake.

Actually the best way to get the knowledge is from the lesson. If you can understand the main points then you can catch up very easily. Conversely,if you fall asleep and miss the lesson, you would have to study by your own. Hence, concentrate in class will help you to get a better grade in the end of the semester.

As a conclusion, the tips that i stated above would be useful for the students to stay awake in the classes. I have tried some of the tips and found that it is very effective. Besides, i have gained better understanding in the lesson. We do not need to study hard but to study smart. The attitude of students will definitely influence the way they study.
