Putrajaya, 12 July 2010 – Multimedia University topped the private universities ratings released by the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin yesterday. The ratings released to Bernama named eighteen top Malaysian universities.As a student of MMU, i feel very proud and glad with the reputation.MMU really was a great campus that allow me to enjoy my study life.
The lecturer are very kindly and helpful.They always teach us patiently although some of us is making some 'child's action' and nonsense noise.They always show us many example to make us understand and they never ignore the student who having academic problems.I'm extremely lucky because i met all the nicest lecturer who teaching Foudation In Management.The reason i say that is,when we are having a class some of us who more childish will keep making some nonsense noise or some 'funny' joke during the class.Although it is disturbing but lecturer will never get angry because they don't want to waste others student time for punishing or scolding them.When we come to the harder part during out lecture,they will give us as many example as they can to make us understand and they will guide us through the difficult question to help us understand more.Nay,when student having academic problems,they will never leave the student and they will ask them to meet personally in lecturer's office during consultation hours and they will try to solve the problems with the student.
Different with secondary school,college life is more flexible.In college,i'm the one who control our time but as a secondary student,i'm the one who control by time.There fore,we have more privacy and freedom in college.In MMU,we only have maximum 4 hours class per day but we are having minimum 8 hours class per day in secondary.moreover,i was study in a boy school while secondary.Therefore,it is much more attractive for the life in MMU than secondary.I also get many international friends in MMU.They all really are friendly even compare with local student.It is no nice can get a friend like this,i can know more information about their country,how's they daily life,what's their local food,what festival did they celebrate,their culture and many interesting story from them.The greatest is i can learn how to speak when hanging out with them.Beside that i also enjoy my life with society's camping.It was very fun although we are staying inside the jungle.The committee of the camp are very responsible and they did take good care of us.They prepared many interesting activities for us and gave us a lots of sweet memories.
But,MMU life present many challenges for us. Academically, many students find college to be much more difficult than high school. other than that,we also having mid term exam and final exam every single sem.In order to get our result in first class,we also need to complete few assignment,quizes and presentation.All of these are really suffocate me.The life becomes so hectic at times that every student faces stress at one time or another. Time management is one of the things that a student needs to learn in order to survive in college. That's the reason why we have to have a timetable to manage our daily life.The miserable is there is the one and only student parking in MMU.Therefore we have to hunt for the parking once we reached MMU.If we are unable to get a parking as soon as possible,then we will be late for the class.
As a conclusion,the life in MMU was great.It make my life become more colourful.And i'm gonna to cherish every single day in MMU !
